Summer wine – The corrs & Bono

2 Dec

Please see this beautiful song..

Summer wine: Lee Hazlewood & Nancy Sinatra

Strawberries, cherries and an angel’s kiss in spring….
My summer wine is really made from all these things

I walked in town on silver spurs that jingled to
and sang a song that I had sang just for a few
She saw my silver spurs and said let’s pass some time
And I will give to you…summer wine

Ohhhh…summer wine

Strawberries, cherries and an angel’s kiss in spring….
My summer wine is really made from all these things
Take off your silver spurs and help me pass the time
And I will give to you…..summer wine

Ohhhh….summer wine

My eyes grew heavy and my lips they could not speak
I tried to stand up but I could not find my feet
she reassured me with an unfamiliar line
And then she gave to me…more summer wine

Ohhhh….summer wine

Strawberries, cherries and an angel’s kiss in spring….
My summer wine is really made from all these things
Take off your silver spurs and help me pass the time
And I will give to you…..summer wine

Ohhhh….summer wine

When we woke up, the sun was shining in our eyes
The silver spurs were gone, my head felt twice its size
She took my silver spurs, a dollar and a dime
And left us craving for…..more summer wine
Ohhh..summer wine…

Hope you like this refreshing duet between the beautiful band The Corrs and the great Bono..

I have been little under the weather and feeling depleted. Peace for me has always been books and prayer. I miss relationships and conversations. I will be all right soon, till then, hope you like this beautiful song from beautiful artistes..

One more thing, something learned from a talk” Building a life” by Howard H. Stevenson, Harvard Business school Professor ” If you want same things at 82 what you want at 22, then your name is Hugh Hefner..” 🙂

More of that later..

Have a good day dear friends!

Love, Suresh
