Zoe Viccaji : Jis Nay Bhi Aana Hai, Aik Din Jaana Hai

25 Jun

” Your future already exists as possibilities, but you need to choose which future you manifest. When you are tuned in to who you are, you can feel the natural pull. Your wish is your future’s wish. This is what Rumi meant by “What you seek is seeking you.” There is just one catch: When you are constantly looking to others for validation, you tune out from who you are. In such situation, what you might think is your wish is really someone else’s wish — and therefore unlikely to manifest. So first love and accept yourself. Then you know what is best for you.”

― Zoe Viccaji

So very true. I stumbled on this quote on the endearing singers Facebook page. I had discovered the artiste as started listening to Coke Studio Pakistan, which is really one of the best popular amalgamation of eastern and modern orchestration. The other being the great A R Rahman. Zoe Viccaji is a fine artiste and this beautiful simple harmony has a Bobby McFerrin “”Don’t Worry, Be Happy” feel. May be because of its minimal orchestration.

Jis Nay Bhi Aana Hai, Aik Din Jaana Hai :

Jis ne bhi aana hai Aik din jaana hai-
Kaahey ka gham Meray hum dum
Tum se mohabat ki, Aur Nibhai bhi
Teri kasam , Meray hum dum
Tum ko hee abhi tak chaahain
Badal na paaye hum dil ki raahein

Every soul who comes, has to go one day
Why worry then, my beloved
It is you that love ,my beloved
and so have been true, beloved
I promise, my beloved
It is you still love, beloved
Have not able been to
Deviate the heart’s desire

Jis ne bhi aana hai, Aik din jaana hai
Kaahey ka gham , Meray hum dum

Every soul who comes, has to go one day
Why worry then, my beloved

Baarish kay paani mein, Yaadein bheegoi hain-
Aankhain hain numm, Meray hum dum
Dur ho jaanay se , Koi bhool jayee yeh
Hota hai kum , Meray hum dum
Tum ko hee abhi tak chaahain
Badal na paaye hum dil ki raahein

The rainfall and drenched memories, beloved
My eyes are moist, my beloved
The distance between us beloved
rarely diminishes memories, my beloved
It is you still love, beloved
Have not able been to
Deviate the heart’s desire

Jis ne bhi aana hai, Aik din jaana hai (minor),
Kaahey ka gham , Meray hum dum

Every soul who comes, has to go one day
Why worry then, my beloved

Tum ko hee abhi tak chaahain
Badal na paaye hum dil ki raahein

It is you still love, beloved
Have not able been to
Deviate the heart’s desire

Bhoolay se bhi kabhi, Saath na chootay
Yeh tum bhi samajh jao
Meray liye pal, dou pal tou ruk jao
Kiye huay waadon ko dhorao

We must not separate beloved,
Not even in forgetfulness
May you understand this beloved
For me, spare a moment or two beloved
Let us remember the promises beloved

Beeti hui yaadon mein laut aao
Yadon mein Lautao
Lautao
Lautao
Jis ne bhi aana hai, Aik din jaana hai

Dear departed memories beckon you beloved
Come back to dear memories beloved
Come back
Come back
Every soul who comes, has to go one day..
