The Gypsy’s Wife : Leonard Cohen

6 Apr

I met him today morning and asked about me. He always does. I was in a dilemma , should i talk to him or continue with my stated desire of walking. I chose former and we sometimes talk. He is older and wiser. He said a few things to me. I am sensitive and came back home with a child’s heart. He told me good things. I want to do good things. My problem seems to be good things.

I don’t know if have shared this song before, like life, hesitate to scroll back blog, some days like the movie ” Groundhog Day” are repetitive , spare me if play Cohen again and again, you see, it is all have on some days, some days you get away with a smile, some days Cohen ..

The Gypsy’s Wife :

And where, where, where is my Gypsy wife tonight
I’ve heard all the wild reports, they can’t be right
But whose head is this she’s dancing with on the threshing floor
whose darkness deepens in her arms a little more

And where, where is my Gypsy wife tonight?
Where, where is my Gypsy wife tonight?

Ah the silver knives are flashing in the tired old cafe
A ghost climbs on the table in a bridal negligee
She says, “My body is the light, my body is the way”
I raise my arm against it all and I catch the bride’s bouquet

And where, where is my Gypsy wife tonight?…

Too early for the rainbow, too early for the dove
These are the final days, this is the darkness, this is the flood
And there is no man or woman who can’t be touched
But you who come between them will be judged

And where, where is my Gypsy wife tonight?…

Hope you like the song dear friends. Some days remember my father, some days my twenty one year old cousin brother, my most innocent experiences..

We will keep the pursuit of good. May be the good will ponder and look our side.

Have a easy Sunday dear friends ! Thank you!
