Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan & Eddie Vedder – The Face of Love

6 Mar

I am not sure if have shared this beautiful track before, never mind want to share this soulful melody from 1996 movie “Dead Man Walking”. The movie and cast was brilliant. The sound track exceptional, please see the great Sufi maestro Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and the brilliant Eddie Vedder coming together for a hauntingly soulful song..

The Face of Love :

Jeena kaisa Pyar bina [What is life without love ] }
Is Duniya Mein Aaye ho to [Now that you have come to this world] }
Ek Duje se pyar karo [Love each other, one another ] }

Look in the eyes
Of the face of love
Look in her eyes
Oh, there is peace
No nothing dies
Within pure light
Only one hour
Of this pure love
To last a life
Of thirty years
Only one hour
So come and go

Jeena kaisa Pyar bina [What is life without love ] }
Is Duniya Mein Aaye ho to [Now that you have come to this world] }
Ek Duje se pyar karo [Love each other, one another ] }

Look in the eyes
The face of love
Look in her eyes
Oh, there is peace
No nothing dies
Within pure light
Only one hour
Of this pure love
To last a life
Of thirty years
Only one hour
So come and go

In a moment of candor a friend of mine told me ” All i want is to live my next ten years in love.” I was touched by his submission and feel the same way. I include family too. For me love and family is important. That’s my goal for next ten years and more.

I leave you with a Leonard Cohen remarks from a speech ” If we knew how life drags on, you’d write to me lot more often. That’s what we are all saying to one another. If you knew how life dragged , you would write to us lot more often, you’d write each of us to one another”.

Hope you like the brilliant song. Have a lovely day! Thank you!
